Then, you’ll learn the energetic qualities of each of the Numbers 1 through 9, a brief “compatibility” formula not well-known, and even cover the Master Numbers of 11, 22, and (rare for life paths) 33.

Simone Butler: Welcome to the Year of the Earth Pig!
Chinese New Year begins on February 5, with the shift to Earth Pig – the last sign of the Chinese zodiac. This year will bring endings with whatever no longer works, to lay the groundwork for the brave new world of the Metal Rat in 2020. The compassionate, yin Pig favors relationships, and finishing what we start. What does the Earth Pig hold for you? And which enhancements can help you make the most of it?

Maria Gonzalez: Retrograde and direct motion of planets in 2019
From January 6th to March 4th, 2019 we will experience a window of time where all planets will be in direct motion. This will be a period of growth and alignment where we will feel propelled forward. By contrast, from July 7th to August 1st we will experience 5 planets in retrograde motion. So, make your plans and be prepared for these important events. And remember retrogrades teach us to slow down and to revise, revisit, reconnect, rewrite old ideas so we strengthen our plans with a solid foundation.
Maria Gonzalez (Membership Director) began her professional astrology practice in 2012. She specializes in forecasting, relationship astrology, and evolutionary astrology.
Jim Hennum: 2019 Eclipses in Mundane Astrology
There are so many layers to Mundane astrology it is impossible to cover them all in 15 Minutes. With this in mind, Jim will be focusing on the 2019 eclipses and how they might trigger national and/or world events along the paths of totality.
Jim is President Emeritus of SDAS, currently serving as Treasurer and Acting Publicity Director. He has studied Astrology since 1989 and practiced since 1994. He has also lectured on astrology regionally.
April Elliott Kent: The Lunar Nodes in Cancer/Capricorn
The Lunar Nodes will transit Cancer and Capricorn from Nov. 2018 – May 2020, connecting with Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn along the way. April will explore the transiting Nodes and eclipses from a natal viewpoint, offering forecasts for each sign.
April Elliott Kent (President) has been a professional astrologer since 1990 and is the author of three books. Her website, bigskyastrology.com, has been a popular online destination since 1999.
Melissa LaFara: Jupiter in Sagittarius
Many are looking forward to the November ingress of Jupiter into his domicile of Sagittarius, which will be a considerable change from the intense growth spurt that ensued under the Scorpio transit. Jupiter will now take the place that Saturn filled only a few years ago, as the gas giant makes a 3-pass square with Neptune in Pisces. We will take a look at what Jupiter in Sagittarius might represent in the personal and worldly sphere, while also examining how tension between two limitless planets may color the vibe of 2019.
Melissa LaFara (Acting Vice President) is a professional astrologer and tarot consultant and is host of the Energetic Principles Podcast.
